Dream Cottage finally a reality… time for color choices and decorating ideas, but without a “designer look.” My objective was to create a warm, cozy and inviting home reflecting our casual lifestyle.

A unique advertisement featuring a giraffe caught my eye. It led to a meeting with Andrea and there was immediate rapport. In contrast to other designers whom I had met, she was the most client-oriented. She listened to me, was not intimidating, and gave me confidence.

I thought I would need only color consultation. One year later however, I had not only warm and inviting colors on my walls, but a whole home filled with the most beautiful furniture, fabrics, art work, accessories and carpets – with some whimsical touches that make everyone smile.

It was a delightful experience because Andrea always allowed me to lead the design process with a gentle, guiding hand. I cannot say enough.

The first home Andrea decorated for us was loved and cherished by our family for over four years.
When it came time to build our next home, we called Andrea immediately. Since our primary home is in New York and we were building on Hilton Head Island, we asked Andrea to be our project manager as well as interior designer. Because she knew our taste, we gave her “carte blanche” on everything – from selection of appliances, flooring, countertops, colors, fixtures, to landscape design, etc. We just knew we would be on the same page and it would be striking.

Our home was completed after one year. Shortly before Christmas, we pulled into the driveway of a beautiful southern Low Country home. Andrea, with impeccable humor, had placed 3 pink flamingos in our driveway as a greeting.

When we walked in, we looked down on an incredible antique wide plank wood floor that she had found through her supplier from an old cotton mill in North Carolina. Antique area rugs and beautiful cottage furniture completed the warm look.

Having been referred to Andrea, our family feels as though we have done better than win the lottery. Her style, marvelous sense of humor, and her care and kindness toward her clients make it a pure delight to work with her. In our family’s eyes, she is par excellence!
